Our events are how we bring you, the community, together to celebrate everything we love about climbing. We want to provide fun and safe events for Jasper climbers new and old to share their love of climbing with each other.
Reel Rock 16
Reel Rock is back with it's 16th edition! The Reel Rock series is making it's way back by popular demand, but is not just stopping in Jasper this time. This year, there will be a Reel Rock 16 screening in Jasper, Valemount, and Hinton! Stories from the mountains
We are absolutely thrilled to introduce our "Stories From The Mountains" speaker series, which follows the climbing careers of a handful of Jasper Locals. Many of the climbers were pioneers in the Jasper area and around Canada, putting up difficult first ascents, especially in the Canadian Rockies. Partnered with the Jasper Museum we bring you fun and vibrant stories from right here in Jasper! Some local legends such as Peter Amann, Dana Ruddy, Jim Elzinga, Matt Reynolds and Cyril Shokopeles will blow your mind with their daring and historic ascents of our beloved mountains! Celebrate jasper winter photo contest
Winters in Jasper are unlike any other - from wild ice skating and world famous canyon walls, to dark stary nights and snowy mountain peaks, to admire. Winters in Jasper are special and should be celebrated. The AJC, the Jasper Team Community Society, and the Jasper Fitzhugh have partnered up to host Jaspers "Celebrate Winter" photo contest: a family-friendly, COVID-safe and fun way to engage the community and showcase Jaspers talent, humor, and outstanding beauty.
